Part of macOS

`spindump`Hang reporter

○ Leave it

Records what was happening when an app hangs.

What it is

When an app stops responding or the Mac stalls, this takes a snapshot for the hang report.

Why it might be busy

Just after an app hung or the Mac stalled. Usually under a minute.

If you stop it

macOS starts it again straight away. Leave it.

○ Leave it. Part of macOS, or something that starts again by itself. You never need to close these.

From Procession’s guide, in the words the app shows.
