Procession
Privacy policy
Procession does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything it does happens on your Mac.
What Procession looks at
Procession reads the names and figures of the processes running on your Mac: how much memory and processing each uses, and which app each belongs to. For your own processes it reads where the program lives, to know which app it belongs to. It never reads command lines or what’s inside an app, and it never closes, hides or changes anything.
What leaves your Mac
Nothing. Procession has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting service, and it doesn’t send any information to us or anyone else.
Stored on your Mac
Procession keeps a history of one reading a minute while it’s open: how busy the Mac was, and the names and figures of the biggest apps. It stays in Procession’s own storage on your Mac, for 7 or 30 days (your choice in Settings), and you can delete it at any time in Settings › History. It’s removed if you delete Procession.
Reports
A report is made only when you ask for one, and saved where you choose. It holds app names and figures only, no paths or command lines. What you do with it is up to you.
Notifications
Alerts are off until you switch them on. They’re shown by macOS on your Mac and are never sent anywhere.
Purchases
The optional unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store. We don’t receive your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to purchases.
