Parts of apps
Google Chrome Helper (GPU)Chrome graphics
◐ Close the app instead
Draws Chrome’s pages using your Mac’s graphics chip.
What it is
One shared helper that does Chrome’s drawing on the GPU for every tab.
If you close it
Every Chrome window flickers and redraws. Chrome starts it again straight away.
The verdict
◐ Close the app instead. A part of an app. Closing it alone breaks something, so close its app.
